I have been enjoying the AM explosion and have read some articles like, " I caught my wife on AM" etc etc. And then there are the stats showing not so many verifiable "real" women. I was thinking, "Well, I know there were women cheating through the site because I KNOW PEOPLE". But I don't know people, I just have read some posts on this site. I wonder how much of this is planted by AM folks trying to stem the law suit? I'm wary of new profiles here with stories of women on AM.

nah, besides i have been here a while. Also AM has fine print that they do use accounts to help business in so many words. There was a big backlash a few years back over that, but it is in the fine print.

If the dump is still there, you can see the CC transactions that tells the story. Many are anon many are male and many are female.

Lots of sad AM stories from either side long before this leak, clearly people were having affairs.

I am going to add my $ .02 since my wife was on AM and acted on it. One of the reasons there are not nearly as many documented revelations of the communications of the women is that after the influx of "dick" pictures, the first thing any of the OM wanted was to get a private e mail or app to communicate to bypass the system and avoid paying 5 credits for a simple one sentence response.

my wife received more responses than i could count, but every single guy she accepted to communicate with immediately asked for a phone number and/or e mail, which is exactly what she did.

She did register as a woman, but fortunately with the fake e mail and name.

lastly, some of you may know this, but when they register they can post a picture that they want public. my wife put on a back shot in a bikini so you could not see her face. however, they all can also have a "private photo" gallery, where much more revealing pictures can be posted. The men would ask for access to her private photos.

it is true what we have read about the shady things that were done, but if there is anyone out there that thinks very few real women were using this site, you are i am afraid mistaken. it is like a buffet for women. A few clicks, and once they sort through the dick pictures there are a ton of men out there for them to choose from.

Just my perpective from someone who unfortunately does not have to guess how the site works in real life.

most of the folks who were actually hooking up were NOT using the site for most of their communication. The "newbies" ( men) would be the ones shelling out a lot of money trying to hook up.

So, I was reading the articles about Biderman cheating, they included copies of some of his e-mails back and forth to women.

They may very well be proof of his cheating, but it also occurred to me that perhaps they are proof of him pimping - backing up those guarantees to his highest paying clients.

Either way, pimping or cheating, he is a disgusting human being. If it was clear-cut pimping, then he will never admit to it. But, I bet his wife stays married to him as she probably would have known he took things to that level. Perhaps that will be the tell tale sign.

The messages are there in the dump, one of the larger files, but first need the id to then cross-reference the messages.

What a lot of the public who have not been affected by this form of adultery don't understand is that there is something mentally and emotionally wrong with people who want to have such disconnected, anonymous intimacy.

My WH was abused as a child and after the first time I caught him on AFF he threatened suicide to the extent he was in an outpatient program for a while was diagnosed BiPolar and has been in therapy and on 600mg of meds a day for the last 8 years. In this 8 yrs he was caught again - actually took an overdose of his meds. Got admitted for a time and still couldn't shake the addiction so after over 20yrs and 3 kids under 11 we are getting divorced.

I really don't like my WH behavior and he needs to be held responsible for it. Although his behavior is most likely linked to trauma suffered as a child he is an adult and has been given tools to help cope in a healthy way with this trauma. He chose not to.

When I say the general public doesn't understand, I'm talking about that disconnected intimacy. It is due to other problems just like any addiction. These aren't all just mentally healthy men and women seeking fulfillment of weird or over zealous sexual desires. They are acting out due to some other problem. Women don't typically act this way. They are much more emotionally driven and the ones on this website are either so desperate for attention that they'll take even this degrading kind or they too suffer from some kind of trauma preventing them from looking for a real relationship.

The people who create these sights are feeding off the weaknesses of their clients. They are the pimp of the internet with men paying them for sex and the women are the hookers who aren't even getting as good a deal as a real hooker because they're not getting any money! They are the drug dealer giving out free tastes to the drug addicts and then charging and arm and a leg once they hook you in. All while causing the same collateral damage to families and society as real drug dealers and pimps. It is a crime against humanity and should be treated as such.

Society loathes pimps and drug dealers. This Neiderman (sp) character is no better and should be included in that loathsome group - in fact he's worse because he found legal loop holes to justify his horrendous, immoral behavior.

Have you been able to confirm for yourself that messages from users are in bigger file. Do you know if pictures are there too?

My fWH with IT background is helping me to look into this with me by his side. (He and I have been in R for 2.5 years and seeing 2 profiles on AM has thrown us for a loop since he never told me on or near Dday 2.5 years ago.) His two profiles show a date (not creation or last update so hoping it means when he shut accts down) which is our dday.

Messages and chats are not yet dumped. Nor photos.

I only saw profile template messages, i have not found any photos in the dump. That would be to big a dump. probably very unlikely to have photos ever and all messages.

If you are after your spouse, the CC transactions tell all. You can use most good text editors and simply search your address through "find in files" or just your zip, first or last name.

for those that are asking about tgz or gz files. You can use 7zip. It will then extract files that any good text editor will read. See page 10 of this thread for instructions.

Mods..if I'm stepping over a boundary let me know, but are there any members that have downloaded the dump that are willing to help others? I never got to the last site before it went poof, but did get a bit of info from the last site posted via reddit. ..thing is its the WH email...but the d.o.b is a month and day off and the city listed is 2 hours from where we live. Says there my be cc transactions. I tried registering for AM but I just get a terms if service page after and then when I try to log on it days my info doesn't match (I'm assuming they pulled it hahah) also tried to recover his password. ..if he really had an account. .scull i get is a message that it will be sent if info matches. ..been stalking his email and nothing yet. ..not worried if he gets it and sees it before I do because he doesn't realize if he deletes it from his phone that it's not fine but in a trash folder that he doesn't know how to clear. I'd really like to get more info as I'm stuck in limbo and his denial but my non-proof is not helping me. Edit..to add we do not share banks so I cannot check for charges myswlf. Bah..i just need to know how deep his infidelity goes..especially since he admitted he'd probably never had stopped if he wasn't outed...i need proof

Well...i found it. I signed up so I could see it that way...i couldn't even though I used the same zip code...so this morning before he woke up I checked his email and the password reset message was there. I forwarded it to myself and changed to password and was in. There is nothing on there but a location his body stats, birthday..which are one day, month, and year off, no photos nothing...i confronted. .got the same i didn't sign up that I got when I first found his email was part of the leak....I'd love to know when this profile was created. .has anyone found out if that is possible? I don't see any communications or credit card charges in this account, but then again idk where it would be listed and only see options to buy them. A date of creation would tell me so much...whether or nor not it is around the time I was notified if his year long e.a...ya know just puzzle pieces I need. Bahhh what really sucks is it boils down to trust and I have none left. Fml
