Me - "Hi." (to mailman)

Mailman - "Hi. Wow you are popular!" (as he hands me 21 cards).

I'm not popular...I'm glittertastic!

the DDs and DS sat and watched me open them. Laughed every time glitter fell out. the last card DD2 ripped out of my hand, opened it and said Ohh no glitter. So DD2 and DS swept all of the glitter off of the table and onto the floor. There is glitter all over the dining room floor, all over the kiddos. They are sparkling.

so much fun.

That won't work for although seeing the postman's face might be worth it

Still hoping I have not been banned from the card exchange.

So I got I'm pretty sure all of them today. I was sitting at my laptop in the kitchen when my mom checked the mailbox and came in and individually threw them on top of my laptop and then at me when I started laughing. I warned her of the glitterfest soon to follow and after I succeeded in playing dominos with the cards (as in setting them up on the table only to knock one down as I was almost finished, starting an unintentional game of dominos...) But once I finished we took a picture before either of my dogs knocked them all down

I also saved all the glitter!! I LOVE the cards!! Tsol25 joked that I was a card expert because I'd shake each envelope to listen for glitter, I'd open it parallel to the table and despite all my precautions, my mom and I both ended up covered in glitter!!! and no amount of soap and water would remove it haha I'm sure we sparkled when we went grocery shopping this evening

Btw perple nerple, you and I are card twins! I bought a pack of the same cards and I love your name too

DS, you and MH are da bomb.

I had a hard enough time just getting my cards signed, stamped and sent.....

You had to pick up the packages, organize everything, print labels and put them on 4000+ cards then deliver them all back to the post office...not to mention the glitter just to keep us all amused.

There are no words, other than possibly crazy, to describe you guys.

Okay, we got out first big shipment...my son dropped them on the sidewalk, and then, for the first time ever, I had to use a shop vac on the dining room table to be able to set the table for dinner.

I haven't had a chance to go to the mailbox. Mr. T is out right now getting sticky tape for me (the kids keep stealing mine) so I can start decorating the back door with them again. I'm going to have him swing by the mailbox to get the cards on his way back. It'll be a good way to wrap up a lousy couple of days with the kids. They have such fun during the opening of them. We open them over a big bowl to catch the glitter, then we make our reindeer food (glitter + rolled oats) with it. Christmas Eve, they each take their baggie of reindeer food and spread it around the back yard. So much fun, even for the non-believer (she's 10).
