Yay! for knowing. Since my daughter is of 'advanced maternal age' (creepy term IMO), she had genetic testing early on, and we found out the gender then.
That being said, for our Christmas gift, since they were visiting us from across the country, they arranged for two ultrasound technicians to come to our house and do an ultrasound on her while she was here! It was way cool. They brought their own massage table, and all their equipment into our house - we hooked up their monitor to our TV with an HDMI cable, and we all watched the ultrasound images on our big screen TV. She was 15 weeks at the time, so we were able to see a lot.
I had no idea this was possible. This company only does elective pregnancy ultrasounds - they say it's a booming business!
