Geez...y'all really cook!
I tend to gravitate toward things that call for 5 ingredients or less. 
HURRY UP COBBLER (Peach). DESSERT
Preheat oven to 350. Put a stick of butter / margarine in a baking dish, and put in oven to melt.
Mix together:
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Self rising flour
1/2 c. Whole milk
Bring a No. 2 can of peaches to the boiling point. (After you smush them with a potato masher.)
Take the HOT baking dish out of the oven (butter completely melted and sizzling.
Add the batter mix on top of the butter.
Add the peaches on top of the batter.
DO NOT STIR!!!
Bake for around 30-35 minutes...depending on your oven.
Batter will rise up and over the top of the peaches and brown nicely.
I have prep time down to a max of 5 minutes!
