I made a donation through PayPal as I did not see that it had to be made through the form that was mentioned. Is there a way that I can be upgraded? Thank you.

First, I love premium access and have been reading through some interesting old threads. Thank you!

Second - I was wondering where things stood on the pagination mentioned earlier in the thread.

When I click "Older Posts" I'm seeing everything from my start date thru March.

Your older posts are currently limited to the first 500 that exist in the archives. Once pagination has been added you should be able to navigate through all of your posts. I have not yet begun that programming so I do not have a timetable for when that will be completed.

Thanks Again!

That hasn't been completed yet, however, MH just walked through the kitchen and said "Please put that and the journal on my To Do list"

Do I still need to upgrade to reach that section?

SImplicity is not an app that you have to download. It is a web-based interface that you can access in your browser. It is a more simple interface than the public forum.

The journal feature has been added. And now there is a new feature that allows you to receive a text notification when someone sends you a PM.

A new feature "Follow or Forget" has been added for platinum users.

You can follow or forget a user by clicking the links in their profile. This is visible on the regular site as well as SImplicity.

If you follow a user, a link to their profile will appear in your profile and their threads and posts will be highlighted on the forums.

If you forget a user their threads and posts will appear in gray and the username and text will be removed. Forgotten users will also lose the ability to respond to your threads and any existing PMs with a forgotten user will be locked. If you have an outbound PM to a user you will not be able to forget them.

Both the follow and the forget lists are limited to 10 users each.

That's a pretty cool feature, but can I ask a dumb question? This site is highly moderated and it's safe here, so why in the world would anyone choose to "forget" anyone else here? The awesomest thing about SI is all the different perspectives that everyone as a whole brings to the table.

Also, does a person have the ability to know if they are being followed/forgotten by whoever?

On many occasions staff has had to ask members to stay off another member's threads. We have also had requests from users to ask other members to stay off of their threads.

There is no way to know if someone is following you. But you will know if you have been forgotten if you try to PM or post on someone's thread who has forgotten you.

Understood. Been in situations where I needed a Mod to say, "Hello? WTF?"

Guess the follow/forget makes the Mod's jobs a smidge easier.
