Last week a friend of mine sold me on the idea of trying to add more microgreens into my diet. But I've always been reluctant because of the stories I've read about E. coli issues with store bought ones. I was at a garden center today picking out fall container flowers, and saw a display with a starter kit for microgreens. The little they could tell me about them is that they have to be rinsed every day. So it started to sound like a labor intensive job, and I wondered if anyone has grown them any other way that wasn't quite as demanding.
My friend buys hers at her farmer's market, but they are expensive buying them that way, although they do last a couple of weeks.
Any experience here?
