Got a notification from an App that ds teacher uses (and may i add shes the ONLY teacher who uses this app so i have to add yet another one to my phone Grrr).

She sent out a reminder that the kids are to wear festive colours today since they are doing the first recording of their Christmas concert.

She also said absolutely no black because its against our "countries culture".

This is in contrast to a message i got yesterday from Big D's teacher asking that all her class wear black today...

A bit of a back and forth with DS teacher i find out that each class has a different country to represent.

Great....could have told us before the day of...

And the explanation that the snow days we had threw a wrench into their plans is BS! They would have know before today what country they were representing since they are recording the performance TODAY...

My DS is incapable of realizing he will need specific clothes etc for events like this. I need better communication from his teacher. And sorry to say i said so lol. I dont think im in her good books today.

I would be frustrated too!

Well at least it didnt turn into a huge deal here. When i asked DS if he needed special clothes for today he said "oh yeah" then went about finding it on his own.

Big D already had his clothes ready.

School called yesterday. Little M "walked into a wall in the bathroom" and broke her glasses...

She had seen her optometrist this summer and he wrote a new prescription for lens since her were scratched but it wasnt a rush. So i made her an appointment for next week to get a whole new set.

DS put his hat and mitts on the shelf above where he hangs his coat at school. They werent there when he went to leave. Hes devastated.

Garage repair guy was supposed to come yesterday after rescheduling from last Monday. He didnt show. And hasnt replied to my messages...

My female box turtle has gotten into the habit of eating just the heads off her superworms leaving headless corpses all over her enclosure...

Wh was given a set of new winter tires on rims for my van. Wouldnt ya know the bolts are spaced just 1/2" to much apart to fit...grrr

Horse water trough is an ice block after the deicer i put in failed...i swear they are made to last one damn day! Ya know how many buckets of water it takes for 7 friggin horses...10

Pray for some good luck for me or at least that Murphy fucks off (Murphys Law).
