Yeah, I immediately skipped over any man who listed his max age preference as more than 5 years younger than him. Like, dude, don't you think those women want someone young and supple like themselves? What makes old you so freaking gorgeous and desirable? (I say this tongue in cheek, as many older men are incredibly handsome and sexy) Why should younger women "tolerate" you who is so much older, but you can't even tolerate a woman your own age? Pfffttt...
That said, my new SO is 8 years older than me. But he listed his age range as up to his own age. And his minimum was a couple of years younger than me (not 18!! Or 25, or 28. Haha) That earned him points with me, and the rest is history. 😁
