Yes, think the HB helpes to connect, but it comes with a lot of conflicting emotions and pain as well so soon after DD.

We did not separate either. Although he said that he understood if I wanted him to leave or when he went to work the next day after dday, the kids and I be gone. To make it clear thats not what he wanted. But understood if that was the path I chose to take.

The thing is, I love him. I never stopped. He said he would sleep on the couch but a couple hours after I told him to, I went to the living room and asked him to come back to bed. I can't sleep without him next to me.

So no, the choice to separate was not an option. it was all or nothing. Nothing else matters. I was very conflicted. One and only second chance. He better not fuck it up.
