So- I got a call from doctor’s office today. Turns out that the growth I discovered a few years ago is HPV! I can’t believe it! I separated from that lying, cheating bastard 2.5 years ago, divorced 6 months ago and now this! It must have been him since he was serial cheater and we were together 19 years. I wasn’t with anyone else until long after we separated. Ugh- totally dreading telling my boyfriend. So embarrassed! So pissed!

I'm so sorry. It's terrible and so very unfair. I hope it is benign? I just had my final HPV panel, six years after d day. My doctor said I can finally exhale. Cheaters (and society in general) think it's just about sex. It's about so much more.

I had contracted the cancer causing strain of HPV from my husband via OW3 unbenknownst to me. I knew then he had cheated and he hadn’t yet confessed to the first two one. stands. My dr monitored it for two years and eventually operated in 2001. I was almost stage 4 at that time. I was so angry with him and frustrated because I confronted and he denied. He went to his dr at my request who told him that men can only carry the virus not test positive for it. I had 30% of my cervix removed a week before September 11th. Sending you hugs.
