Strange white stuff falling from sky

There seems to be some strange white and cold stuff falling from the sky.

Sadly it kept me from drinking delicious alcoholic beverages with my beloved SO.

Luckily I have delicious wine I can drink all by myself!

I do love my SO a lot, though. Time for more wine!

Adventures in Bread Baking

DD is out of town and SO has his kiddos for the holiday's so I am enjoying reading and watching Harry Potter. But I got a little restless.

Since I love baking, and particularly like making bread I decided to try something new!

I am doing the dough in the bread machine, but will bake in the oven. Dough is white flour, olive oil, molasses, ground flax seed, steel cut oats, salt, water, yeast, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts and a smidge each of cinnamon and nutmeg.

I will let you know how it comes out! Sometimes my concoctions are awesome and sometimes they are not so much

Anyone else like to make up recipes for baked goods?
