Is there a way to open old iPhone?
So, I have my WW's old iPhone. I do not have the password to the phone. (By now, this is more curiosity to find the things I may have missed than anything else.)
Is there a way to crack / boot / whatever the right term is her old iPhone SE and get at texts still on it? I am pretty sure she did not wipe the phone when she upgraded.

phonelab etc. question
Quick question: Can the phonelab/drfone etc. software only uncover deleted texts from unlocked phones, or can they actually open a phone that is locked by password / FaceID?

iphone / Windows 10 question
I have hit a technical challenge:
I had accidentally recovered some email from WW a while ago, which greatly helped me in processing what happened in the A.
At the time, it seemed as if there was only that one A. Since then, I have had more weak signals that lead me to believe there have been more As, before and after the A that triggered all of this.
(I am heading for D so this is more to get clarity for me than for some decisive discovery.)
I am pretty sure WW uses WhatsApp and Gmail for most of her communication. (I can see the WiFi traffic on our home network on the router, and that's what she uses most of the time.) She uses an iPhone XS, and a Microsoft Surface laptop with Windows 10. Both are locked with face recognition, and I don't have the passwords. I don't have the passwords for her Gmail and WhatsApp. I also have her previous, discarded iPhone S from last year but without the password to unlock the phone.
It seems as if there is no way in, right?
