I see PDs

Help me celebrate our cats life

I had to put our 15 year old cat to sleep tonight. He was with my son and I thought the most difficult timers of our lives. He was the best cat and stepped up to the plate when my son needed him most.

He learned to turn door knobs to get into my son's room he was needed.

He waited like a puppy for my son to return from school, following him and his friends around like a dog.

When there were arguments he got right in our face as if to say knock it off or I'll f'n cut you all.

He never scratched or bite anyone out of anger.

My son lives in Galveston so he couldn't be here.

I was in Wichita for the week and I believe held out for my return to say goodbye.

He was an extraordinary cat and I give him credit for his assistance in raising my son, I could not have done it alone.

So if you see a slightly chubby cat talking to squirrels, playing with rabbits looking for Mikey or me tell him we'll be along when our time comes.

This may not seem like a fun and games post but if you knew him you would understand. He could take a joke and dish it out with the best of them.

He lived a good life with people he loved and loved him back, and he knew it. He is happy now and probably playing jokes on the bunnies and squirrel.
