I have three children. All of them are involved in fall sports. Practice/game schedules are ridiculous. But this fundraising. I am so over it, and we still have $285 to go for my daughter’s cheer goal. If I see another raffle ticket before next fall,
I may just drop dead.

I hear you.
I thought we had only one fundraiser for football. No, there were 3. I think we are done for now but 2 more years of fundraising.
The first one, we fully supported and got through it. Second one was dinner plates and it was just easier to buy the 10 tickets ourselves. Third one, we did not participate in it.
I understand why we got to do it but I do hate it.

I have zero relatives and no neighbors to sell shit to. At the beginning of the school year I went to the office and wrote a check to cover the fund-raising in elementary school.
In high school and middle school I did the same for band and choir the things my kids participated in.
I did not engage in candy sales and all that bullshit. I didn't have anyone to sell to and my time was too valuable.
Now that I'm old I see kids selling cookies and popcorn and all in front stores. If its for an organization I know does good I just make a cash donation. They are always super appreciative .
