Staying healthy?

What are you doing for yourself to maintain health?

I'm going to get back into a weightlifting routine. I used to be ripped. I think it might help me gain back some of the self confidence that I lost.

I'm trying to make better food choices. Sugar and simple carbs are a problem for me, so I've tried to eliminate as much of both as possible.

Weightlifting is good for bone density. New muscle tissue is hungry and eats up calories floating around even while resting.

I'm getting back to my sleep schedule which has been off for a few weeks. It changes my energy levels in the mornings. I've been taking night computer classes so I think the screen time is keeping me awake, also I feel energized learning new things. My brain is buzzing and isn't wanting to power down at the regular time.

More veggies. I now have spinach and avocado shakes in the am. They are super green and awesome. Even add my own kefir.

I try to stay away from prepared foods.

And I work out every other day.

Canít sleep though.

Anyone try meditating?

I Nordic ski almost every day. I feel ok about it, but I've always been a daily climber/mountaineer/hiker up until DDay. I didn't realize how much muscle I had until I quit climbing. Skiing is keeping me aerobically fit, but I hate the large muscle loss I'm hoping I can get myself together & get back to climbing soon.
