How'd you manage to make it so that only happens in fun and games? Pretty slick.

MH is some kind of programming genius.

Fun stuff. Can't wait to see what my name does.

My question is, what are the stories behind the guides/Mods new names? Were they picked randomly or is there a sort of history?

(I mean besides Moo. That's a dead giveaway)

Fear not guys. She only does that on full moons, when emotions on the site are high and flags are being thrown left and right over petty arguments and sweeping generalizations.

Someone usually starts a thread in General thanking the Modz for their service. DS wakes up, sees it, and goes all "Aww MH! Aren't they the cutest!? We should keep them!" Then she goes to the kitchen to make another pitcher of Koolaid.

Then I read this and felt much better.

You can’t do that to me, I’m getting up there in age.

So I googled Struhag wondering if we'd get an image of some comic strip villain or something cool.

The first result is that this is someone's name who arrived at Ellis Island from Czechoslovakia in 1921. Neat history.

The second hit brought me to SI and a conversation between me and NIK and others and I am looking at it wondering what was going on. When did I post this? Who is hacking into my account. Then I realized it was last year's AF Day thread

My name is because before DS and I officially met I'd notice on all her g2g pics that we have the same belt. I got so excited that I had to tell her.

When we met in person for the first time, I made sure to wear it, and she was too! Belt twins!
