That was so wrong.

I can't tell from the commercials, but I'm wondering if Rick and Carl end up in the neighborhood where Rick left Carol.

I was actually more upset about the little blonde girl than Hershel - but yeah, just a really upsetting episode in general. Somebody needs to kill the Gov. & FAST.

I'm stoked! Been reading everything on the net trying to get some spoilers - they are very tight-lipped. But that is what makes it so good!

Think I will record the marathon starting on Saturday.

And there is no way Judith is dead. Please....

Jana, I am pretty convinced he is gone. But I was SURE we were going to see Zombie Lori. We never saw her body, and though we were lead to believe Carl killed her the right way so she wouldn't come back, they didn't show us. So I was just positive she was going to show up as Zombie Lori in the prison at some point when we were least suspecting it. Now that they've left I guess it's never happening. So I suppose it could happen with the governor but I think he's a goner.

Now I do!!! I forgot! I think I thought at the time they were just making us believe Lori was in there but she actually wasn't. I was sure they wouldn't miss an opportunity to traumatize us with zombie Lori. However they moved on to traumatizing us on a weekly basis with other things so it's all good

I think the rest of the season will leave us wanting them to meet up and be full of near misses and frustration. They'll get close by the finale, but someone important will die right before it can happen. Because it's The Walking Dead, and nothing good can ever happen to anyone on the The Walking Dead.

I was texting with my friend in FL while we watched it.

I couldn't believe some of the things Carl was saying. He was being a whiney punk. I think his near misses scared some sense back into him.

I can imagine how excited I would be if I found a gigantic can of chocolate anything a couple years into the zombie apocalypse. It's the little things in life.

Great episode! I have a feeling they're going to drag the next 7 out by focusing on just two or three of the main characters per ep, like this one was about Rick, Carl and Michonne. I loved how Rick looked through the door peep hole, laughed and said, "It's for you" at the end. I also loved how Carl was wowed by the kid's bedroom he wandered into, looking at all the cool stuff, remembering how fun it was to be kid before the whole world ended.

Can't wait to see who's up next week.

Oh the Michonne story!!

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED SUNDAY'S EPISODE!!!!!!!!

I was so happy to start getting some of her story.

I KNEW when Beth made her hold Judith and she lost her mind that she was a mother. And I knew that her child was no longer with the living.

Did you guys watch Talking Dead after the show? Danai was a guest and she talked A LOT about Michonne's story. About how she reverted back to being dead after she found Herschel's head. And how the zombie look a like in the herd she was walking with made her realize she didn't want to be dead.

And her dream....I knew that was her subconscious trying to force her conscious mind to work through the grief of losing her life, her love, her child.

The knock on the door, made me cry. The "Dead" Michonne would never have knocked, she would have just moved on.

I can't wait for her to come fully alive again.

Anyone else think she's going to hook up with Rick?

Every time I see them on screen, I think "they need to be together!"

I also don't think Judith is gone. I think Beth grabbed her out of the carseat and got on the bus.

Before the Michonne story came out I was thinking that maybe she was supposed to meet up with her child (I wasn't thinking infant) and/or family and kept getting caught up fighting the zombies. That's why she kept looking at the map and pointing to Macon county. But...now I know

I loved the knock on the door! I hope they are all able to regroup.

That would be a strong match if they did.

I hope Judith isn't gone, but I don't think Beth has her. From what little they have shown of her and Daryl they don't have her. I'm thinking someone on the bus grabbed her.

There were blood stains on the inside of the car seat, so I'm getting too hopeful, but it would be a great twist if someone did grab her.

I can't imagine they would kill off a baby, but look what they did with Hershel's head. So I guess anything goes. I still think someone grabbed Judith and maybe a Walker fell on the carseat and got blood on it. Just a guess.

You know what I don't get, though? Why on earth did the group not have 2 or 3 possible meet-up locations picked in case the confrontation with the Governor went bad. Did it not occur to ANYONE to say - Hey, if this turns to shit and we're all running away, let's meet up at the Texaco 5 miles south.

It's not like they don't know shit could happen at any time. Look what happened at the farm. That's how Andrea and Michonne ended up apart from the group and in the Governors compound.

That's a good point. They had the bus ready to go, maybe they thought everyone would be on it so they didn't need a meet up place.

Not that I would have a hint of a chance of surviving in the Zombie Apocolypse, but I totally agree that by this time, the core group should be a whole lot more prepared than they are, like having places to regroup should they ever get separated.

On one Talking Dead, Nathan Fillion even said that if he were there, he'd have treehouses w/ladders built all through the woods since it's been pretty obvious so far that the zombies can't climb trees. And he'd be teaching every kid how to get up a tree as fast as possible as part of their ongoing training.

I guess the show wouldn't be very interesting or gripping, though, if the main characters can always get away and be safe.

I'm glad Glen didn't, too!

I love how this episode played out, and I'm actually really glad that I was wrong about them doing each ep about just 2 or 3 of the survivors. I liked this episode and how they seemed to be following the same basic path (that sign about hitchikers and then the massacre next to the tracks) but at different times.

That girl Lizzie - serious creeps! I must have horrid eyesight because I couldn't tell those things were bunnies even when the camera lingered on them as Tyrese and the kids moved off. So glad that Talking Dead explains a lot right afterwards, so I don't feel so dumb.

And so glad Carol showed up when she did and saved baby Judith.

I know!

**If you haven't seen the show yet, you may not want to read this post because of spoilers.**

You could tell by Maggie's face that the last person she killed wasn't Glen. Her face looked like she was happy and relieved.

For a moment when they first showed Glen I thought he was going to try and jump that gap. That was an awesome escape!!

I'm glad how they showed everyone else in this episode. That was cool they were all in the same area. I hope they regroup soon.

Were those real military men at the end? What about that new "camp?" I'm not so sure it can be trusted. I don't read the comics so I have no background on this.

I think Lizzie was feeding the walkers the rats at the fence and she was the one who skinned that animal and pinned it the board. A friend of mine had a good idea and now we're both wondering, did Lizzie kill those two people who are sick and is Carol covering for her?

I knew it was something, but I couldn't tell they were bunnies until they showed Lizzie late on.

I love The Talking Dead!!

I couldn't believe Lizzie seemed perfectly fine smothering Judith.

Lizzie is a fucking bad seed. She was totally going to kill Judith. She was skinning the bunnies, and not for food.

I have been saying since Karen and the other person were found dead and burned that LIZZIE did it, Carol caught her trying to cover it up, and took the fall because Lizzie is just a baby, and "doesn't know any better".

I think that's why she was so distraught at the thought of Mika being left with Lizzie with "no one" to watch them. Rick saying they'd be taken care of wasn't comforting to Carol at all. She looked really scared when she realized the girls were with Tyrese---maybe because she either thought "Tyrese thinks I killed Karen" or because she knows that he doesn't know Lizzie did!

I really liked the episode. I think the only reason Glenn offered to take Tara out was because her gun was fully loaded, and he knew she actually didn't particpate in the Governor's slaughtering of the Prison crew. Yeah, yeah he needed her help, but until he saw her there, he was going alone. I cried when Tara inadvertedly told Glenn that Herschel was dead :( At least she didn't say his head was hacked off. Slowly.

The men at the end, I guess are in the comics. I haven't read them, but from Talking Dead, I guess they're not "bad" guys. I don't know how Michonne and Rick are going to take to more new people though.

The new camp--I want to think it's a good place. But then Woodbury looked like a good place, too.

ETA:

I agree that Lizzie was the one feeding the walkers and nailed the animal to the board. It's why Mika screamed "no YOU don't understand them!" When Lizzie said Mika didn't get the Walkers.

Was she always like this or did she snap after her father died?

This is going to be an interesting story line when it all comes to a head. I wonder how Tyrese will handle it all.

Yeah, I don't think Glen would have helped Tara if she had been part of it. That was so sad when he found out about Hershel. Exactly. He's also lucky that he didn't stumble upon Hershel's zombie head

I hope they're good guys. I can't picture Michonne and Rick stepping down as leader any time soon. I wonder if they'll ever try to find any military base like in the first season or if that is not an option any more.

Exactly. That's why I'm wondering if they are "good" guys and if the camp can be trusted.

That's a good point.

Ugh! There's so much to keep track of. Just when I think I have it all down I remember, or someone points out, some good details

Someone was feeding the walkers while Lizzie's dad was alive, I believe. If she snapped, it must been after her mother died? I don't remember her introduction story.

It kind of seems like they're (the writers) are going to lead everyone to the new camp in one way or another.

I was a tad bit disappointed in last night's episode. I found most of it to be quite boring. Although, I did find mullet man quite amusing.

Really?

I was holding my breath and was all when Rick was under the bed and the guy laid down on it, then when the two guys were fighting and one saw Rick.

The pink room was so sad

Mullet man was annoying. I don't believe that entire storyline.

I know - right!? I mean, really, who are the 5 of them going to tell... standing there in the middle of a walker corn field.

Poor Rick, that whole bed thing was almost funny, but I was holding my breath through the entire scene. I couldn't believe that he, Michonne and Carl actually got away okay (for now). And what are the odds... That must've been a seriously better-looking house than all the others in the neighborhood for both groups to pick *that* one to take a nap in.

My take on those three - The main guy is "playing" military, but really isn't. I don't know what he could actually be. The girl, who knows, but not military. Mullet man couldn't survive on his own so he concocted this story that he's a scientist and has to get to DC so he could hook up with a group to take care of him.

I thought that, too, at first, but then I remembered that when the leader guy (whose name escapes me right now) was telling Glenn and Tara where they were going -- to DC to save the world -- he actually mentions that they've been talking to the bigwig scientists in DC up until a couple weeks back, and it's those guys in Washington who want Eugene (mullet man) to get to DC to help them with the fix/cure. If it weren't for that, I'd say toss Eugene in the corn field, because after only one or two lines in the whole episode, he's already really annoying.

I don't know. I still don't buy it. Remember the CDC? The scientist there said in one of his video recordings that he didn't know why he was still talking because he doubted anyone was still out there. He later mentioned something about the French may be on the right track for a cure/cause. Mullet man doesn't strike me as someone who could get out of his own way. Wouldn't the scientist at the CDC talk to someone in DC?

Abraham (the new guy) and his companions are apparently in the graphic novels.

I haven't read them so...

But on Talking Dead, the man who plays Abraham, said he really is military, has extensive military training.

I'll be back in a little bit to edit in the rest of my thoughts on this week's episdode!

eta:
Ok..I love that since Michonne has chosen to live, she is living and interacting, and opening up.

I held my breath, too, when Rick had to hide under the bed.

I don't get why Glenn or Tara didn't press Dr. Mullet for the story. "It's classified" Bullshit. This is the fucking zombie apocolypse, nothing is classified.

I'm interested to see where that part of the story is going.

I'm glad that Rick/Carl/Michonne are making their way to Sanctuary...they'll be reunited with Judith, and Tyrese. And Carol. And Lizzie the Psychobadseed.

Next week looks like it will be a Daryl/Beth episode. Yay, Daryl!

So I am going to sound really morbid here but I saw the kids as a liability. Not saying they should be killed but it was inevitable. I think the younger one had a chance but the older one (Lizzie) had to go. Definitely the right call. Trust is so much more important in that situation and that girl was the epitome of untrustworthy.

I'm ready to see Daryl kick some white trash ass this next episode

It definitely was inevitable for Lizzie. She was just crazy. I was thinking that maybe a walker would have gotten her since she saw them as "friends." I wasn't expecting that. As soon as Carol said "she can't be with people" I knew what was coming. OMG! What an episode.

I have the heeebie jeebies about Terminus...the comic doesn't have a place called 'terminus' in it, so there's no real comparison.

I don't trust it. I have a feeling it's another Woodbury or "Jonestown" I am wondering if the people that grabbed Beth brought her there.

I don't buy into the other storyline with Eugene. It seems like they're pushing the whole "I must save the world!" line a bit too hard. The scientist at the CDC couldn't figure it out.

I've never read any of the comics so I'm coming into this show with no background knowledge or anything to compare it to. I like it that way. There's no spoilers or "That didn't happen in the comic!" to worry about. I like watching the characters change and grow in each new season.

My H thinks they are cannibals in Terminus too.

I don't think Eugene knows anything about saving the world. He just used it as a way of convincing Abraham to save him.

When the group walks up and into Terminus at the end of this last episode, I kept thinking "why aren't there walkers anywhere?" "why aren't the gates locked?" Even if it is some idyllic haven, something's really off about it from the get-go. And, hey, Tasha Yar always creeped me out on STNG, so she's perfect to play the creepy welcome lady in Terminus

I second what DixieD said, I think Eugene doesn't know anything. Just thinks he knows it all.

And Terminus, I agree with the poll, I think it's gonna be worse than Woodbury and I too, think there's gonna be something about cannibalism.

I love this show. I don't want it to stop for the season!

I agree. I think Eugene came up with that so he could team up with a group because he couldn't last on his own. Another thought I had was that he might have been traveling when the apocalypse hit and he came up with the excuse to help to go back home. I don't know, just a few thoughts. Either way, I don't believe he knows how any of this happened or how to stop it.

I still don't fully believe that Abraham is in in the military. Again, I don't read the comics so I don't have any background on him. It's just a gut feeling.

And Terminus, I agree with the poll, I think it's gonna be worse than Woodbury and I too, think there's gonna be something about cannibalism.

Just think...we're not going to find out any of it until next season. So we'll have the entire summer to sit and wait.

Loved it! Without spoiling it for anyone, I think Rick did the right thing in the first half. He did what needed to be done!

Now, we need to know what happened to Beth, Carol and Tyreese. Perhaps Carol and Tyreese will help free the ones captured?

I'm not sure what happened with Beth, but I think Carol and Tyrese will show up at Terminus later. I don't think they showed them arriving before the rest of the group.

I want to know what happened with the people of Terminus. That wall never again, never trust....

Also Rick was amazing!

I think the "never again, never trust" is the terminus people saying that won't trust other people again, only terminus people.

What a cliff hanger!!

I don't blame Rick for what he did at all! Those guys were evil, just evil. You know what they were going to do to his son Carl, right? He did what ever it took to save his son from that.

I knew that place, (Terminus),was gonna be bad news. Did anybody else notice when they were running around trying to find someplace to hide from the snipers, the pile of skeletal remains they ran past? Even Rick turned his head a little when he ran by. What exactly was that lady grilling and gonna feed them? Notice no one had time to eat it. I think Tyreese and Carol are gonna show up at the right time when Rick and the others make their move.

Does anyone else watch "Talking Dead"? I haven't had time to see it yet, got it on the DVR.

So, how long do we have to wait for the new season? Please don't tell me it's not till the Fall like the major networks!!

I was worried for Carl. I had a thought (most likely the same thought as you) about what that big guy was going to do to him.

I didn't trust Terminus at all. I missed the skeletons, but when they were running through the place it looked like they were leading them to that last area because every time they went for a door it was either locked or the shut it.

The Talking Dead was good!

I think it's fall, either September or October.

I will go to hell for this, but based on the comics, who this Garth character is most like, and the fact that they have all this meat and NO livestock at all, any where in sight....I kept thinking.....

OCTOBER!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, got that out. Yea, if you watch it again, I think it's the part where they're running from the "memorial" room, to where they finally stop them. They run past a chain link fence, Rick turns his head slightly and then the camera pans back a little and you see a pile of skeletal remains in a fenced in area. They're pretty white and have some blood, (flesh?), on them.

What I missed was all the little signs Rick saw, the blanket, Glens armor, etc.

Judith=Baby back ribs

Good one. I'll admit it I laughed too!

I'm so glad I found this thread! I have no one to discuss this with. Can you believe it, my son and husband started watching this the first season but got tired of all the carnage of the zombies. So, now I record it and watch it alone. I keep telling people it's not about that, it's about the sociology of it all. What happens to people and their way of thinking.

Please keep this going when it returns in the Fall!

I've never read the comics, but I definitely think that Terminus is full of cannibals!

I'm going to have to watch it again.

I dvr'd all the seasons when they ran the last marathon so I have all of them including this season.

I had to "rewind" it because I missed the clues that Rick saw with the riot gear etc...

I keep telling people it's not about that, it's about the sociology of it all. What happens to people and their way of thinking.

I tell people almost the same thing. I tell them that it's not just about killing zombies, it's about humanity trying to find it's place in a new reality.

I love this show.

Please keep this going when it returns in the Fall!

Absolutely!

I love discussing the show and getting the different ideas and points of view. You can watch the show multiple times and see something different almost each time, there's so much going on.

I was at a walking dead party lol. But we watched it twice and saw stuff we missed in the second go through. Definitely cannibals, I caught the remains the first time and when they were barbecuing we were all like where'd they get all that meat omg!

Took the second time to notice the armor and poncho. What I meant earlier by what happened to the people of Terminus by the never again never trust wall was what made them never want to trust. What turned them into this that they would lure people to sanctuary just to kill them.

Also if you watch the talking dead it a true, biggest lesson: There is no Sanctuary.

Oh, ok. I'm sorry, I misunderstood.

I don't know. Maybe people came in and tried to take over too many times? I guess we'll find out in October.

I would love to have Walking Dead party.

I read an interesting hypothesis about Terminus. Someone said it seemed like an awful lot of trouble and waste of bullets in order to keep the possible cannibalism going. With all those bullets, why not just hunt game, for ex. Then someone else postulated that Terminus isn't actually the end-game place. Maybe it's a gathering point and the human-cattle will be transported elsewhere as a sort of tithe for a bigger organization. This actually makes some sense given that there probably isn't a lot of preservative available for keeping all the "fresh meat" that comes in viable. But if they collect people and ship them off, then the folks at Terminus are protected somehow and allowed to keep operating. And that would keep the storyline going awhile longer, too.

Just another twist on what's becoming a pretty consensus view (the cannibalism).

I'm also curious about the candle room and how that came about.

I think that Carol and Tyrese aren't there yet, and will -- hopefully, somehow -- find Rick's bag o' guns that he buried outside the fence.

One of the producers said something about Beth's story line including some heartbreaking moments and some heartwarming ones. Way too vague, but I'm still rooting for her and Daryl (never was a Caryl shipper).

So very much don't want to wait till October!!!!

They used all those bullets to lead them through the station to the train car. They were always shooting far enough away to not hit them, but close enough to get them to turn in a different direction.

That is a good angle about a large organization. I never would have thought of that. Like "insurance money" you see being paid in the mob movies. They are shipping out people.

I don't know. I can't see the Daryl/Beth thing. Her character seems a bit to flighty to me. I wasn't a fan of the Daryl/Carol thing either.

October is a long way away.

Oh, I totally understand that. I was trying to say that in doing so, they used up a boatload of bullets that they could have used more efficiently to actually hunt instead of herding people.

True. It's also not like that can't say they wouldn't know how to cut up an animal to cook it if they do it with people.
