Shocked  Posted: 4:26 AM, September 22nd (Sunday)

Ok...third times the charm! I swear I've tried it get this post written three times now and each time it disappears! Scary to think of where they are all going. I could wait up to find 12 threads started by me each saying pretty much the same thing!

I had a doctors appointment on Monday to see my Pain Management Specialist. Stress increasing pain...no more need be said. He sooner than he walked in I was bawling my eyes out! He sat holding my hand, trying to get my story and asking my mom who was with me lots of questions. Left the room and came back shortly there after to give me a shot and an appointment card to see my primary card doctor on Wednesday.

Wednesday, repeat....he walked in, I cried....mother answered. I didn't get a shot that day but I did get another fucking label Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Two prescriptions one for an AD and the other an anxiety medication. My doctor feels with some time, a good counseling and some medication for at least a little while, I will get better.

Then came the hard part....having to get checked for any and all sexual transmitted diseases. My hubby and I have not had sex in 3-4 years but I was attempting to please him in others ways for quite a while. Sort of like high school you can rub it down there but don't put it in! And other stuff that can keep a man happy just no poking your wiener in anything down town!!

Ironically, I had a spinal cord stimulator placed in my back that could have cured the painful sex problem. But he never wanted to try and I just gave up trying. In fact for those reason I though why even get checked, but the doctor thought better safe that sorry.

So the results from all the testing will be back next week and I'm nervous!

I'm sorry, I see so many typos and such up there but haven't figured out how to edit them after posting.

Those tests are just another part of the BS struggle. Doctors do understand and probably see far too many of us.
I hope everything turns out well for you.

in R 4 years and it's working but he is putting 200% into it (as he should) to make it right again.

The truth hurts, but I have never seen it cause the pain that lies do.

(((forlorn)))
It sucks to be here, but know that we all have been through it, or are going through it right now.

STD testing is just part of it. The dr's see it every day so don't fret over that. When you get the results you will at least have some peace of mind.

Don't fret over the PTSD diagnosis either. At least you have meds to help you cope. I still don't agree with that diagnosis right after DDay, it should be Acute traumatic Stress Disorder, you are in the thick of it, there is nothing post about it.

Be happy that you have Dr's that care, and work together. So many people don't .

((((and strength))))
