X, Mrs. Robinson, and I are part of an online community, and have alternate FB profiles for that purpose. Everything I'm saying is occuring on the alternate profiles not personal (real name) ones.
Less than a week after Dday, those two change their relationship status to "engaged". People far enough removed from the situation congratulate them, she says they've set a date for June of next year. Later (before NC) X tells me "we did that to be funny"
Yesterday they update again as "married". I only know because people told me. I guess she's telling those congratulating them that they had a Wiccan handfasting.
To me, a funny relationship status is one that is obviously fake and absurd. She plays this all off as totally serious and real when it isn't. To be "funny". That seems off to me, not right... like a sign of a sick, disordered person. Am I off base here because of a bias, or does that strike anyone else as twisted?BGF- 30 (me)
