Gentlemen hello. Sorry no home brewed beer from me. I drink the stuff if I like it but I'm not a aficionado like some of y'all. I'm the kind of guy that will try new brews, but really I'm a Sam Adams kind of guy. I know mass produced now, but I remember when it was actually hard to get.

But hey...give me a Patron and I'm happy as a clam.. until you steam it.

Yesterday was a good night. Pizza and games equals tired kids for the ride home. Felt like a momma possum with kids clinging everywhere. Was kind of cool.

But early to bed and early to rise. Kids woke up at 6:00 am. I haven't gotten up that early on purpose in five years. Worked afternoons and midnights for ten so I have an excuse.

DD kind of set me up this morning. She asked if I would make breakfast. Me: sure baby what do you want? Well you always make the best breakfast for Mother's Day and you weren't here. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE can you make crepes? Me: sure sweetheart anything else? Yeah can we invite mommy? The next thing ya know three kids chanting for mommy. I said we could call and ask. Well kids jumping up and down with DS6 jumping up and down screaming "I want bacon!!!...and two eggs. ...oh yeah please." My youngest chants "tank aks" I'll translate..pancakes.

I called WW and invited her to breakfast. You could have heard a pin drop. She asked if i was sure. I said yeah i missed mothers day and I'm making crepes. She accepted and said she would be over as soon as possible.

DD immediately started pulling the stems off of and smashing strawberries. The little shit. WW favorite breakfast...crepes with strawberries and my "secret" sweetened cream cheese.

WW arrived and we really did haves great time. "My girls" were singing goofy kids songs and a good time was had by all. At least I think so.

DD has had horse riding lessons so I took the kids for a trail ride. We just got back and they are tired. I haven't had the opportunity to talk to WW about what and how we are going to tell the kids exactly what is happening. I know I still need some time. But all in all a great day for me.

Oh who the hell am I kidding. I wasn't upset at all that dd suggested it. WW looked hot and I missed Mother's Day.

That sounds like a beautiful moment, SWAT! Really happy to hear that you had a positive morning with the kiddos and that you included your wife. Your kids are a riot! Way cool. Cheers!

SWAT, great moment. Gotta love the kids. I'm glad you and WW had a *moment*. It's so, so easy to remember the woman we loved.

WW looked hot

Good for you!

I'm going to ask a question. Are you familiar with the term KISA? It's not necessarily a *bad* thing to be, as long as you are aware of it and its implications. Something to ponder though.

Knight: Dude, I saw one of those things pop out of a guy's chest at the end of 'Spaceballs'. No way.

The rest of you gents: I posted something in the Reconciliation forum I'd like you all to take a look at, if you're so inclined. Thanks in advance.

Ascendant, widen your horizons. Think mini lobster. I'll check your post.
Knight....Duuuuude! You suck! That's not playing fair! Wow, that looks good. What is the choice of beverage to compliment that feast?

SWAT,

Awesome that you enjoyed breakfast with your kids and WW today. Take the good times when you can get them. They sure provide a crutch when the bad times knock you down.

It's ok to take your time. Take as long as you need apart to sort out your thinking. And don't feel pressured to make a decision to R right away. I think being in the "not divorcing just yet" camp for as long as you need to is fine too.

I'm a Sam Adams kind of guy.

Me too. I like brewing (though I have not brewed for awhile now) but I can't beat Sam Adams. I don't care if it's mass produced now or not, it's still a damn tasty beer. Finishing off a Summer Ale right now.

Day sounded fucking awesome. Hope you have many more like that.

Abita Root Beer for me, Buckler N.A. Brew for KBFF. We're teetotalers here, which is pretty unusual in our state.

I am going to a perty tonight. I have also decided to wear the full three piece suit I bought in Italy. Also, I have had a lot of Tequila.

That is all.

h0pless, stay safe brother. Tequila is wicked. 6'5" in a 3 piece?

Knight, good on ya. Given what you do and where you do it?

We're teetotalers here

Prolly not all to the bad.

Was thinking of something that would cleanse the palate though. Believe it or not, not all alcohol is consumed for the intoxicating factor. Root beer? Well, at least beer is in the name!

Ade is flagged for mentioning that he saw Godzilla without giving a review.

Knight - looks yummy mate!

JJ - did you at least get a tie, or do you need more lessons?

Also saw Godzilla today. It's hard to give a detailed opinion without spoilers, and there are a few surprises. Worth seeing, good Godzilla flick, but I kinda felt they tried to make too many people happy. They did a good job but I think it would have been a lot better if they focused on one approach.

The kids did find Godzilla both terrifying and heroic though, so it's hard to say it doesn't work. Not as epic as Final Wars but it was worth the ticket price IMO.
