So far, I like the SI suggestions of Pico or Chico.

From your list, I like Pippin or Pipsqueak, and Pip for short. Niblet is cute, and Cujo IS hilarious, tho.

Bless you for saving him. Now I have 2 precious little Chi rescue threads to watch!

That's it, that's it!!! *Bounces with excitement*
I knew once I heard/saw the right name, something would click and we'd just know!
The Harry Potter series of books is one of my all time favorites (and IS DD21's absolute favorite)!

Dobby fits him so well!
Thanks for all your help. (And Dobby thanks you all too!)

That doggie is going to take over your life. Take it from me .... three tiny Chi in my house!

Mine are registered, Mom, Dad and son. Dad - Gizzmo is from a long-line of champion show dogs but who cares! He sure doesn't. Mom is so petite, so graceful, such a lady and her name is Graycee Michelle.

Their son - who is so very little even at 2 years .. is a spoiled, rotten little boy. His name is Chee but he's called Little Bit" (or various other names when he's up to his mean tricks.)

Not ONE of them weighs over 4 lbs but if the door bell rings or they can get a glimpse of a FedEx or UPS truck, you'd think a herd of bad ass Dobermans live inside my house!

And Dad and Son argue and act like they are going to fight, just like a read Dad with a 14 year old son. Mom gets SO upset when they 'argue' and looks at me as if to say .... make them shut up.

They are a constant source of entertainment.

Jeanniegirl - that's hilarious! I can just imagine two of Dobby sitting there "arguing" with one another. All of our furpeople are spoiled rotten, but Dobby's got the added bit of being carried around quite a bit (his legs aren't very steady yet and the stairs to the second floor are too tall for him).
I stepped on a scale, then picked him up and weighed us together. I'd say he's just under 4lbs, but he'll likely plump up a bit with regular feeding.

Thanks NIK! LOVE that name!

I'm glad you liked Dobby!! We were going to name our Chi that but it didn't fit him. We went with Boswell instead.

Enjoy your little piece of heaven!

Mack

Was Boswell the 1yr old brown/tan chi in the other rescue thread? If yes, he's sooooo cute!!!

I love Dobby. I tried to get my best friend to name his chihuahua that. Doesn't she look like Dobby?

And this is my chihuahua...Angel. She's my rescue that I adopted.

I love that you "bounced up and down" and I totally get that the right name just makes you KNOW.

I guess I'll finally have to give in and learn to post pictures. I have lots of pictures of my Chihuahua 'herd'

I live out in the country and my neighbors across the street have three red, long-haired weenie dogs. My three Chi dogs consider this country road THEIR 'hood' and they don't even want the little dogs across the road to come outside of their own house. The barking war is on when the neighbors let their little dogs out and mine are out for their morning romp. Neither my dogs or the neighbor dogs leave their own yard as I've trained mine to stay back at least 10 feet from the road ... so six little dogs out there, having a barking fight with each other.

All I have to say is .."I hear the RED DOGS" and the Chi's are up and running to the door, ready to do battle.

The little boy Chi is SO tiny that he doesn't look real. I actually had a man offer me $1,000 for him at the grocery store when I was there waiting on my mom. He sure draws attention out in public because of his unreal tiny size.

When he's starting fights with his Dad, I think ..."where IS that man with the $1,000?!"
