Wounded, its interesting that you suggested "Cha Cha".
A friend of mine suggested "Simcha" (Hebrew for joy and good deed) and hubby said we could always call him "Cha Cha" for short.

He is adorable! I'm not surprised he's going to be staying with you.

I love all the Latin name ideas. Lots of good choices there. Or you could go for cliché and name him Lucky, because he sure is lucky you found him.

No name suggestions but just wanted to say that he was lucky to be in the right place at the right time and find such caring wonderful people to save him.

We had a rescued abused 3-legged chihuahua when I was a kid and she lived a long happy life with us.

Growing forward

Thanks all!
Dixie, he definitely was in the right place at the right time.

My husband just suggested "Yoda" because of the big ears, lol.

Our top six so far:

Bentley
Mobey
Napoleon
Yoda
Cujo
Goliath (aka Golly)

That's hilarious and also one of the reasons we get such a kick out of "Cujo".

How about "Thor"?

He sure is something. We have a 6.5 rescue poodle that once was homeless as well. She has no teeth, one eye, and a bad knee. She gets around really well, though! She is a little spitfire and a joy to have around. I'm sure this little guy will be just the same for you all.

He looks like a "Baby" to me, because I just want to hold him and cuddle him and kiss that tiny little face.

But I am in LOVE with the idea of calling him "Cujo"!!!! That is freaking hilarious. You could go with "Coodge" for short, or you could go with "Jo-Jo".

No matter what you name him, he is so lucky to have been found by such a loving family.

Thank you for rescuing him and for letting him into your hearts.

To go with the "Thor" theme, we tossed around "Loki" for a bit, but he isn't very troublesome, lol.

"Baby" is so cute, but my husband said he refuses to stand in the yard and yell, "Baby!! OooOOooh Baby!!" (Think the song from Dirty Dancing)"

We're narrowing it down!

Bentley (cuz he kinda is- bent, that is)
Pippin or Pipsqueak (Pip for short in either case)
Yoda
Niblet
