I hate Facebook. The pictures of them are gut-wrenching. I hate seeing all the fancy places they visit. I have GOT to stop doing this. I feel like I'm never going to get better. Back to the shrink I guess

What Weepingbuddhist said. I blocked my ex on Facebook last week. Just staring at the button. I had already unfriended him but I was going back and couldn't stop myself from gleaning all the details I could, making conjectures that were hurtful about what he's doing, torturing myself.

So I did it, I pressed the button (had to tell two friends I was hesitating and get them to encourage me first).

Taking away the temptation will help. NC = No new hurts. And yes, stalking is a kind of contact.

Sorry Sennah, I know exactly what you feel. I unfriended him, too but I used to have his friends/family on FB, too. I unfriended them all last week. I read here in a different post:
"He is not hurting you anymore, you are" so please stop doing that to yourself.

((((Sennah))))

We all have bad days like that. The trick is to engineer our lives so that it's harder to give in to them and make them worse by pain shopping.

I agree that blocking is your best move. Remove that temptation to look....
