I meant that I'm not signing up, but might send a few cards anyway

Oh, no, Missy. You don't get to send cards without receiving them with tons of glitter. Uh uh.

I think I want in... But what's the deal with the glitter?

FP - many of the participants in previous years have sprinkled a little glitter into their cards before sealing them. And a select few take the glitter nuclear, putting in so much that it trails behind the postal carrier as they deliver the envelopes.

Participants are encouraged to be mindful of potential glitter bombings when opening their SI cards.

Here's a shot of my mail box when the first round of cards arrived last year. On that one day, I received 53 cards. I couldn't stop grinning.

Are we talking "a little" as in the amount used? Or the size?

Because I swear, that pixie dust glitter...? Ho-lee cow! The comforter on my bed is still iridescent.

FP...

It's up to you how you want your envelopes labeled. Just specify in your PM to Card Exchange. Some members use their real name, some only use their first names and some only use their SI name...it's entirely up to you.

But we do need your mailing address in order to label your cards and get them mailed to you.

Who used a little glitter?

Well... I used NO glitter for every year I've participated... which is what, like, 3 years running!

Count me in. We were in Hobby Lobby last night and the had 40% off Christmas crafts. I got glitter and I'm not afraid to use it! Kid found the glitter and asked-"is this for SI?"

I can't wait!
