She went to the docs because of chest pains.. She was admitted and giving tests that showed 98% blockage..the docs decided to put stints in on that friday and she died on the operating table..my friend was planning on surprising her mom and drive down on fri instead of saturday but when she got to the hospital her mom was already dead...

My friend and her two sisters were mama's girls...i've known the family over 20 years...

My mom and i are very close too but right now im upset with her. , lol!! I digress..

I'm not sure if i should talk about ny mom around her bc i know how much she misses hers...recently i was telling about all the drama that was going on between my mother and i... She told me there are some things i need to let go of and not to let anything come between my mother and i... However ehat my mother and i are going through, i feel are very valid.... I understand where shes coming from but i feel like she csnt reslly see my POV bc of the pain she is feeling abt losing hers...what im dealing with is trivial in comparison...

How would u handle your friendship with ur BFF with these circumstances?

Thanks my friends..

People tell you exactly who they are...why expect them to be what they are not

Coming from someone who needs to live 1900 miles from her Mom in order to get along...read this, over and over.

Your friend is giving you the gift of her pain. She's being honest with you in that we need to let the small stuff, the "trivial" stuff go and love wholly.

You can have boundaries. You can become frustrated. But consider how you'd feel (Heaven forbid) if your Mom passed away unexpectantly and you never got to see her, hug her, tell her you love her even when you're frustrated with her, again.

Your friend has wisdom now, gained from painful experience.

"If I'd only known then what I know now".....

May BFFs Mom RIP.

If your friend is mourning her Mom, then i would refrain from telling her my problems with my own Mom. Believe me she would love to have her Mom here to disagree with right now. She was very close to her so this may take awhile. My Mom died almost 7 yrs ago and we lived hundreds of miles away from each other but we were very close.
