So if anyone remembers about my last post...I was having issues with him moving to his grandma's and her seeming to run the show and me never getting to see him.

He has made some progress with things.

He got the job that he interviewed for. He is now working night shifts (which solves any issues of him spending the night here from time to time!)

He also told his grandma that he is coming over here after he gets off work. She argued with him about it but he held fast and I am now seeing him more (although some of that time is now taken by him sleeping off his night shift!)

We really don't have any more awake time together than we had before, but we did take a day trip to some caverns one day and that was really nice.

On a personal note, I am suffering from some severe depression right now so I am trying to work on that, but I have more time to work on my own issues since we aren't together so much. Not sure what I am going to do about the depression yet. I'm trying to start exercising again but not finding the motivation. Also dealing with some heart issues and they put me on beta blockers. I need to get a better handle on my stress. I've cut out my extra-curriculars for this semester so I can try to slow things down a bit and am mostly just concentrating on work and school.

It's progress. Good for him.

Take care of yourself.

I hope you can find the motivation to exercise. I know that was key for me. Still is :)

I'm not dealing with depression, but still don't always want to get out.

What helps me is tracking my exercise on a calendar. I don't want to see too many empty days (and certainly no more than two non-running days in a row, barring extraordinary circumstances) and that helps me.

You can do it!!!

No, I haven't taken those...I probably should look into going back to counseling, but one doctor at a time and right now and I am spending most of my time at the cardiologist.

Let me try that one. I am usually progress-oriented, and maybe if I make a pretty chart with some easy to reach goals I can start getting the habit back again....

I used a nutritional supplement called Neurolink instead of antidepressants and it worked really well. There are no herbs in there, just aminos and B6 so it should not conflict with beta blockers. Are your adrenals exhausted. There are some herbs that work really well for that. One of the symptoms is depression and if you've had a ton of stress for a long time which i know you have you may need extra adrenal support.

Take good care of yourself. Glad your guy made progress.

That's great news that he stood up to his grandma for you. I'm glad he chose you.

Take care of yourself. I know I'm not one to talk right now because I am right there with you on the depression and high levels of stress. I have found that not having enough vitamin d adds to the depression, fatigue, and workout feelings. ((Naiveagain))
