I'm not going to trouble my husband with it - he's in pain with a herniated disk, MRI tomorrow and facing possible surgery. And this isn't his fault.

My coworker is recently divorced. She told me a story yesterday about something her husband did, and I ended up having a dream that was very very similar to what happened in her story.

In the dream, I found out that, while separated, my husband had a girlfriend and they took a trip to NYC. I found out via social media. At first he told me the girl's name was Ashley L--- and that she was the daughter of his parents' friends (their real friends, real last name). Then I realized that the first name was the same name as his text friend payroll girl and asked if it was really her, and he admitted it.

In the dream he was smug, cocky, mocked my pain, was unremorseful, defensive, etc. etc. Everything he was last year. It was pretty awful. I woke up at one point, went back to sleep, and was right back in the dream (that's so unfair when that happens).

So yeah. That made me wake up in a bad mood. But at least I know EXACTLY where that dream came from.

We're both in our 30s. One awesome 4-year-old daughter.

AKA Moo

Think of the haters in your life as sandpaper; they’ll scratch you up time and time again but in the end you’re polished, smooth, and spotless..while they end up useless

I'm sorry

Dreams about the A's are so difficult. On one hand you know it's a dream and not reality. But then we question them. Was it your brain sending you a message? Maybe we missed something, and it's been eating at our subconscious. So then the dream sticks around and haunts our daytime thoughts.

Whenever I have a dream even remotely similar, I force myself to wake up and get distracted. Go have something to drink. Watch a little tv. Maybe go on facebook and catch up on silly stupid things. It takes my mind off the dream, and usually I'm able to fall asleep without it coming up again.

My dreams were horrible. Sometimes the vague running after my H in a fog and not being able to find him. I also had very graphic sex dreams of H and OW having sex in front of me or taunting me. I dreamed about her trying to take over my house, etc.
Now I take a prescription sleep aid and rarely dream. I had to be able to sleep and not remember my dreams.

In my bad dreams he's always unremorseful and mocks me. Calls me crazy. I wake up on high alert!
