I was doing well with days 3-5 of the separation this week. But then a flare up with the WW yesterday and today I'm feeling down and missing her. I'm with the kids today and tomorrow, but having trouble engaging with them. I know she is going to see her AP at some point in the next two days and I don't want to care, but...

That is all. Just venting.

Hang in there. The down days are tough, so just hold onto your sweet kids and remember how much they need a calm and rational for e in their lives now.

kg, this is where you force yourself to get busy and do something, anything active with your kids. Go to a park, go to a ball game, go to the movies, a bike ride, a cooking project, yard work - anything to get your mind in a better place. When you're busy, it's easier to stay on an even keel and keep the negative thoughts at bay. You CAN do this. Focus on the kids and get busy.

((((kg)))) For every down day, there's an upward swing that follows. Until then, keep your kids in your actions and thoughts, and keep moving forward. Sending you strength and comfort.

Ok. Off to get subway sandwiches and drive to the top of a mountain with the kids. My WW's suggestion, but I need something.

Thank you for the replies everyone. SI is helping me through.
