On a serious (or not so serious note- we are in the menz section)...

You guys have me thinking, Have you noticed there are things like "man up", or "be a man", or "step up and be a man", but there are no societal female equivalent sayings. It's as if men are supposed to be the grownups and the same expectation isn't put on women. I'm not saying there aren't grown up women who are responsible for themselves (lots here on SI), but there doesn't seem to be an effort to make young women self reliant and responsible for themselves. If they can land a guy who is funny, charming, stable, has money, provides, and protects, why should they really.

Maybe what I am saying is that in some way maybe we have failed as men in not expecting our partners to be the very things they want us to be. Guess it goes back to not playing the "game".

I think I just talked in a complete circle. Is it Beer:30 yet?

Just checked her out. She sounds as cool as hell, but not my type from the neck up.

Maybe so SG, but best to avoid any food stuffed in bread references for a while.

RyeBread, there is a good reason for that, they are supposed to grow up as Disney Princesses and then turn into Desperate Housewives. Even during dating, everyone puts the pressure on men regarding marriage with comments like "So when are you going to make an honest woman of her?" With all due respect, that was her parents job. I'll worry about such things if I ever have a daughter.

Not so sure about Walt's demise. I think he orders the vacuum cleaner parts and takes his barrels to New Hampshire. Best guess is that his opening credit purchase last year is intended for Jack and Todd and their crew.

ETA: Now thanks to both of you, I am hungry and gonna make a grilled cheese on rye with my George Foreman grill.

My theory too. Hope he didn't watch too much Rambo II. Those M60's don't have unlimited ammo or make things blow up. Either way it's gonna be good!

Without being too spoilery, I agree with the purchase of the vacuum cleaner parts, unsure about the fates of the barrels, agreed on the use for the M60. I'm still cloudy on exactly HOW he gets from where he's at now to there....there are a ton of wildcards floating around....Marie, Skyler, Heul, Jesse....I mean, I have some thoughts, but nothing I can get too deep into without ruining shit.

Yep.

The real question is who is the ricin for? Or is that just one of those things you hoard because it might be useful one day?

I suspect it's for Lydia who seems to do a lot of tea drinking.

There should be a show called 'Breaking Good' which follows the lives of BS's who go through pain and suffering and yet come out as better people on the other side. Nah, it would never get the ratings. Not enough car chases and hostage scenes.

Having a hard time picturing why Lydia would need to die if he bought the vacuum cleaner. She isn't likely on his revenge list, and it's no longer an issue for rat patrol.
