I've finally booked an appointment to get tested for ALL sti's next week and I'm scared shit.

Ex says he did not sleep with OW but I don't believe a word he says as initially after DDay he said that the affair started after my DD was born and that they only kissed three times. I now know that the A started whilst I was pregnant and I have since found out in an angry manner from him that they did more than kiss.

The thing is OW was raped when my ex first met her and who know's what she might have?

If it turns out I have caught something I really don't know what I am going to do.

Emotional abuse is one thing but having to deal with possible physical abuse too might tip me over the edge. I have two very young children to think of :(

In my experience, not knowing is almost worse than knowing. I think it's smart that you're getting the tests done - there's a really great chance that you will come back squeaky clean.

I'm glad you are getting tested. I agree with Ama that the not knowing is worse. If by chance they do find something then you can deal with it head on.

I remember getting tested at my doctor's office and the WHOLE time I was there.....I was singing like a canary like "My husband cheated on me and that's why I'm doing this and blah blah blah!"

I remember leaving all of the paperwork on the kitchen counter because he was still coming by the house when I wasn't home and I wanted him to SEE that I had gotten tested. JERK.

Sending mojo it comes back clean.

I remember getting tested the first time after d-day and crying on the table. It came back clean but I've made the decision to have regular testing going forward. Regardless of how solid the relationship seems, there is really no harm in staying on top of your health.

Thank you. It's something I should have already done. :)
