XH and I are going to share a cell phone plan for the first time in 2 1/2 years. We've been talking about it, but when my phone went dead for the last time last week, I told him now or never. He didnt hesitate to agree.

What makes this significant is that a year ago when we were talking about R, one of my conditions was to share a cell pan. He said he'd "consider it" and then gave a multitude of reasons why he didnt really want to. Of course now I recognize that it was completely false R. His old phone number had still been on my account since we were married, I just had it suspended until the contract ran out. After he blew me off, I removed the number and changed my plan.

Fast forward to now. What a difference a year makes! He is actually remorseful. And now he has agreed, without hesitation, to abandon that stinking pay as you go phone that has been the source of so much nonsense these past couple of years. The new phone has a new number, but he can keep the old one if he wants. Part of me wants him to use the new number, and make a clean break. The still suspicious part of me wants him to use the old one so I can see who exactly is texting him, and if OW ever contacts him again.

Anyway, while R still isn't perfect, I'm encouraged by this latest win! I know cell phones are a big deal for a lot of us BS's, so I feel like it's a win for all of us, lol.
