Am approaching our 4 year anti-versary. Not sure how I am feeling (today). Marriage is good, very good. FWH is really a new man, honest, emotionally stable... faithful. We are good together, in this to win this.

And yet the scars (wounds?) of the As are with me. I searched the word infidelity in my library catalogue and discovered a 2013 release entitled, Vow: A Memoir of Marriage (and Other Affairs), about a wife who discovered her Hs affair(s) and an outside child. She was also unfaithful during the M. The reviews on Amazon are interesting.

Anyone here read this? Thoughts?

Hi Flatlined.

I have not read that particular book.

I really enjoyed "How to be an Adult in Relationships" by David Richo.

I think I read it in year 4, maybe year 3.

I know I would not have been open to some of its tenets earlier in R. In particular, Acceptance.

When I did read it. I was ready. For me the scars stay as well. But this book was very helpful to me in moving forward. Acceptance not only of what happened in the A but also the very flawed R that followed.

I don't respect anyone that can't spell a word more than one way:)
