I get this phone call from someone I know. She asks how much do I pay my sitter on sat

Huh?

Okay, let me explain it to you, she says

Her adult dd is in the background giving her info.

Seems her dd had a dream about my baby (hes five) drowing in the pool at the saturday sitters house.

She said the kids walk from the sitters to another house where the pool is located.

She described the yard, pool, deck and how much I pay the sitter.

She describbed the kids bathing suits

All is exact

She said the kids are in the pool. The sitter is on the deck doing something, looks away and thats it. My baby is face down amd the arm floatie is next to him

Lately ive been afraid something was not right around him.

Ive always felt guilty about how his life started and the termoil that took place during his conceotion and birth

For five mins I didnt want him when I was four months pregnant bc of what was going on in my life

Kid rocks my world. I love him to pieces. He is special. But their is a different connection around him. My dd I feel she will be there forever. My ds ive always felt like I was grasping for him. Like he was not always going to be there

This has me scared. No pools. No creeks without me being there

Im seriously freaked out

That is so scary! If this happened to me, I would definitely warn the babysitter, and my son wouldn't be anywhere near a pool without me right beside him. There are too many unexplainable things in this world to ignore it. ((sully))

My SO gets "messages" that he has to figure out and give to the right person....at first I thought he was a little "bonkers" but have seen many many times the message get figured out and given to someone who is thankful for it......
I would not panic, but would talk to your Sat sitter and explain what you have been told, ensure that they are extra vigilant about the kid's and if they are going to at a pool they are not alone with the kids if possible.
It never hurts to ensure their safety around water....HUGS

Oh, Sully, I can so identify. when my daughter (now 23) was a toddler, I had a dream she fell off a boat and drowned. So I've been very paranoid of her in water. The other mothers thought I was rediculous and one of the mothers, while my daughter was with her daughter in a place with an inground pool, let the two girls swim unattended after I had told her I didn't want my daughter in the pool. She explained it to my daughter and her daughter that I was just being paranoid. Really pissed me off.

I know I would react the exact same way you are - no water unless you are right there - because like me, I'm sure your eyes don't leave them, whereas alot of people just let them play and don't worry unless they hear something going on.

they hear something going on

And that's the thing - drowning is very silent. People think there is a lot of splashing and yelling that will draw their attention but there's not. It's eerily quiet until it's too late.

Yes, very true Emerald Eyes. There is a good article about this, with a video link at the bottom:

Thank you.

I think im going off the deep edge with this...

Today we are in the food store parking lot and im having this danger feeling. Im just petrified im going to lose my baby.

The sat sitter leaves for two weeks on the 19th and her dd will be watching the kids. I will tell them about the dream and no pool/creek rule

To add to matters....today about 1 mile from work a boater overturned in the river and had to be rescued.

A body of a tuber was found in the town I work.

My former neighbors ds was in a truck that swerved off the road to avoid and accident and went into the river.

Im not liking water right now

Im trying to find sunday swimming lessons.
