Woke this morning to the terrible news about the 19 members of an elite firefighter squad killed while working the Yarnell Hill wildfire.
Holding their families in my thoughts.

God bless their souls, and may He wrap their families, friends and colleagues in His loving embrace providing comfort, strength and courage to face the minutes, days, and weeks ahead.
This is unimaginable.

The whole southwest is in dire need of rain.
Pray for these 19, and all the other brave people who are out there.

I've been following this on facebook all weekend. So many people I grew up with have ties to the Yarnell/Peeples Valley area. It's all so devastating. Hopefully they get it contained soon and no more lives or homes are lost.

This is just awful. So sad.
I am fiercely independent and I won’t apologize for it. I'd rather be single than settled.
