I guess I should not have expected anything less from him.

It very clearly states in the SA that he is responsible for 50% of the uninsured medical expenses. I think that's a pretty commmon thing. Anyway, I got dd new glasses a couple of weeks ago. She really did need them as her prescription changed and her old frames were barely fitting on her face.
I send him the receipt and said that per the SA, his share was due by July 3. He said he wouldn't pay it, and that I should have just got her $2 readers from Walmart, because that's what he got and they were just fine.

Ok fucktard, glasses are required, adn if you are 47 and want readers from WM then knock yourself out. But an 11 year old needs a proper prescription. And I was NOT out of line in getting them without consulting him. The expense was way less than the $500 point at which I am required to consult with him.

I also sent him the bill for dd's surgery. This was relatively small.

Well, today I got an email stating that he would make a one time payment for the glasses, and to consider myself warned that he would not be making any future payments, and that he would overlook my bad judgement.

AYFKM?? Bully much?? JFC. So similar to the latter Cat got from her ex!!

I had a call with my attorney a week ago and she said that yes, glasses are certainly a legit expense that I am due reimbursement.

Ugh. I'm just going to keep track of my expenses and the dates I submit things to him and let things go from there. Once I hit maybe $1000 I'll have to take him to court again.

Wow. Just wow. So he thinks child expenses are optional? Jeez, next he will have you weighing/measuring their food and liquid intake and dispute it as well.

Just HOW stupid do you think I am, exactly?

What a jack#%*. I am consistently on the edge of anxiety with my STBX about anything that requires another penny over the CS amount, myself. It's like these WS's gain strength from conflict.

I'm just going to keep track of my expenses and the dates I submit things to him and let things go from there. Once I hit maybe $1000 I'll have to take him to court again.

^^I think that this sounds prudent, and maybe, just maybe, he'll realize that you aren't messing around and definitely NOT going to bow to his 'warning' tactics to deflect his responsibilities by making you shoulder what he is creating as a burden.

It must be a full moon--the idiots have all escaped the asylum.

My favorite, though, is my ex's line: You can't blame me for not sending you [cell phone] bills.

Really? The account is in your name. The statements come to either your home or email and I am supposed to believe that you can be absolved of the responsibility to forward me a copy if you want me to pay my share.

I can't wait to see what a judge makes of this. He was stupid enough to put it all in writing.

Making that list is a really good idea. I've learned the crappy way that if I have issues without cooperation, it goes a lot further to wait until an L meeting and give it to him, rather than try to deal with Perv himself.

He will say to me (electronically only) to ask him and we should try to save L money, but the actions that come back don't match that.

It's just awful when it's the needs of children and a lesson about who a person really is.

Oh my gosh!! This is weird. Asshole-itis is contagious with our WS!! Your stbx is such a gem with his comment about Walmart reader glasses. What a idiot. I'm sorry you are dealing with a POS.

I go to court next week and I will be bringing up the fact that he has stopped paying for his half of the children's uncovered medical bills. Your post made me wonder what kind of stupid excuse my stbx is going to give.

You are doing great!! Keep moving forward!!
