I'm sorry to be blunt and am glad your kids have you to be with on weekends.

Be blunt with me any time, Ash (and others). It's the bluntness of my SI family that made me see I was in a bad relationship, I was being controlled and manipulated, and that I couldn't love her back into the marriage.

Hard stuff to be told, but too important to not be told. You guys always seem to say almost as many nice things to me as you do hard things. I spent 17.5 years being treated like shit, so you can imagine how it's almost more overwhelming to hear the nice things - especially about my parenting!
