NO MA'AM
How could you not go with Al? He's the modern day version of the biblical Job when it comes to surviving marriage.

O'Neill is a BH? I had no idea. Dude is a BJJ Black Belt after 22 years, trained under one of the Gracies. Tough dude.

Seriously! now's that the 180 I want. Just exactly how does one get trained by a Gracie? I'd trade my left nut for that I think. Not like I need it anymore anyway.

ummmm...I am going to point this out and then shut my mouth....but I thought this was a betrayed mens post/board or whatever. If I am going to be lectured...its sure as shit not going to be by someone that is a wayward...annnnd just a tad betrayed. No offense...but that is what I feel.
Just my opinion....if you havent actually lived it or lived what we are living...

well...you know what I am saying..

feel free to pile on me via PM and not here for this to be drug on and on.....

Well now
That certainly explains a lot.
Thanks for pointing that out

Being wayward does not in the least bit take away the pain of being betrayed.

Yes, betrayed is betrayed, I don't think we need that discussion again.

The suicide stats from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that middle-aged men (35 to 64) living in the American West are more likely to commit suicide than men living elsewhere in the United States

All right, I'm on the good side of the stats for once!

And over the last two decades, it's men without college degrees who have ended up most disconnected from the core institutions of work, marriage, and civil society. Guess who is most likely to kill themselves? Men without college degrees.

Ah, fuck.

SG - who is O'Neill? I'm familiar with the Gracies, but haven't followed UFC (or whatever it's called now) in over a decade.

And Drew,

Why didn't you just close that top thingy on the tank?

Ahh...now I see. I missed a lot of pop culture being out of the country for a lot of the 90's and early 2000's - so the MWC and Seinfeld references usually go by me.

Being wayward does not in the least bit take away the pain of being betrayed.

Perhaps not. It's painful all the way around. That being said
Gently
I had a hunch something was amiss. I figured is this person a female. No
Was a WW looking over his shoulder. Maybe
What was setting him off?
I mentioned something a few pages back about what if the shoe was on the other foot?
I have always been faithful. I've never banged another woman behind my wifes back. I could have but I have boundaries, a strong sense loyalty, and I know the consequences would be too high a price to pay. My children's opinions of me are very important. Kind of what WAL said. I never want them to think its ok.
Yes a betrayed waywards opinion is cool but not when it's compromised or tainted perhaps by some lingering guilt. I don't know, I could be wrong but if I went wayward and betrayed my spouse I might expect some repercussions like that. It wouldn't be ok just like a revenge fuck isn't ok but seriously it's like you reap what you sow. Could be wrong but I don't like being attacked because of my healing process.

Outstanding Drew, is it as fun as it looks? I'm not a tanker but my old man was a Cold War tanker circa 1960.

Well despite all the bickering, or maybe because of posts generated by it, I found some helpful thoughts ITT that helped make yesterday a pretty good day.

BTW, I have always been a little suspect of the 180 -- seems to be easy to fall into the trap of using it to manipulate and/or attaching significance to the outcome.

Thanks for the link to understanding the 180.

Not a tanker but spent some time attached to the 3rd Bn LAR(light armored recon) who rolled around with some M1A1's on occasion. Much respect.

FYI - don't stand between two M1A1's when they are doing live fire training. Even with ear protection it is very very unpleasant

If the intent is to manipulate then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. The idea is to get back that sense of self you let go during the M. It helps you to get to a healthy place for yourself and only yourself. It's about working on you to find happiness in a sea of shit you've just had thrown at you by the A monkey.

You are responsible for your healing, it helps you to get there. Anyone who uses the 180 to manipulate the WS is going to have it backfire.
