If she would have just killed the Governor when she had the chance, she could have saved so many lives . . .

I'm glad she bought it. And they let her go out on her own terms.

Where the hell did the Governor go????

I did not expect that to happen and it made me cry.

Now, what about Carl? Talk about a boy with issues now

i was a bit disappointed to say the least...

there were big stories about this finale, loads of people(cast members) dying, all sorts of tension and suspense being created..

for that? meh, i would have watched the 2nd season finale again.. much more intense and befitting of a season ender.. i'm a bit insulted that they left us with that episode last night to last us til October...

tell me i'm not the only one...

The Governor went to the wilds, I am pretty sure we will see him back at a later date. He's to head strong and power hungry to just drop to the wayside.

Poor Poor Carl, that little kid has had to do way to much for a child his age.

The really scary part was that his logic was so correct - for a child. He kept seeing new people come in, then leave, then someone dies - He found a pattern and tried to stop it.

I wonder if these other kids that came in on the bus will help balance him out. He needs other kids, not other adults.

Personally, I really wanted them to leave the prison. I was hoping they would get to go to a better place, but really...you can't get much more secure then the prison at this point.

Also, why dont then just go around and stab the walkers on the fence line? I mean, all that pushing and stuff on those fence's is going to give way eventually right?

My thought was that by having the walkers out there, it makes it more difficult for people to sneak up on them.

Huh....didnt think about that one. Right on...

Also, have they started to like 'move in' to the prison? Glen and his woman will need their own little area soon right?

And where do these people sleep. I mean, the last time we saw people 'sleeping' was when they got tore up while still in tents...

Well, they were having fun in the guard tower, but now that it was blown up they will have to find someplace else.

And where do these people sleep.

They were sleeping in the cells in the cellblock you keep seeing them in.

Milton signed his own death certificate when he stopped Andrea from shooting the Governor.

Finally!! A Walking Dead Thread!!

I'd agree, the season ender was somewhat anti-climatic. I was really hoping for a major WWIII style showdown at the prison. I had all kinds of ambush scenerios envisioned. Oh well.

I am SOOOOO happy that Andrea is dead!

^^^This!

They did leave it very open to take season 4 any direction they want. I'm looking forward to that.

I have to admit that I was sad to see Andrea go. She was trying so hard to save everyone but I liked that she went on her own terms. Poor Carl. He's colder and more withdrawn now. It's sad to see the changes that are happening in him. I am anxious to see what happens in the next season with the Governor but HATE that we have to wait so long!

I was talking about Carl to SO last night and said its so sad to see this kid becoming a cold killer. The argument I was given was that I a world like this its hard to maintain your humanity and everyone is a killer. I think in a world like that maintaining your humanity is of the utmost importance. I feel bad for the kid. Andrea on the other hand should have killed the damn governor while she had the chance!!

the season ender was somewhat anti-climatic.

Honestly, I loved how it made the complete split between the 'leaders' and their style of humanity.

We all knew the Gov was just wrong on so many levels, but his last act of killing all those people (who's kids and stuff were back at Woodbury) sealed his black heart forever.....While Rick going back to save Andrea, but instead saving everyone else, show's that his morals are back and he's doing things for the right reasons.

And with Lori (as his Jimmny Crickey) disappearing, it will be interesting to see how he keeps his morals in check.

I do feel bad for Carl - hes still just a kid. If Rick is worth his salt as a father, he will ground him from the gun for a while....seriously.

Carl would be a product of a world we aren't familiar with. If a 12 year old kid screws up, a lamp might get broken. In his world, if someone screws up, people die. And to him, people he cares about are in short supply. He's not a ruthless killer, just has a necessity to be fiercely protective. He would have done what Andrea could not.

If it wasn't so funny to see how weird carol and Daryl are together, I'd say she's worn out her welcome on the show.

The really scary part was that his logic was so correct - for a child. He kept seeing new people come in, then leave, then someone dies - He found a pattern and tried to stop it.

This exactly! I was very disturbed by his shooting, but when he explained why, I totally got where he was coming from. I do think it will help him having more people around and seeing Rick trust some new people. Remember a couple of weeks ago when they didn't pick up the backpack guy, and he got eaten and they stole his backpack. Disturbing. I also think Michonne as a strong mother figure will help him as well.

As for Andrea, I liked her, but I didn't get too upset. Surprisingly, i was more upset about Daryl's reaction to Merle. And Milton? At least he went down fighting. (eyeroll)

I am still digesting the finale (really poor choice of words there ).

Carl.. Maybe it's the mom in me but every since the first season I've been yelling at him when I watch. Someone needs to parent that child and sit his ass down. It's too far gone now though.

I love Maggie to bits.

Andrea.. meh. She infuriated me this season but I guess she explained a little more why she did what she did and it helped me not hate her.. just as she died pretty much I wasn't too broken up about her being gone though her departure isn't very true to the original graphic novels from what I have been reading.

I'm liking watching the evolution of the relationship between Rick and Carl. Carl is going through that "My dad is not the hero I thought he was" phase that all teens do, but in completely unheard of circumstances so it's a good platform to watch that relationship change.

And oh my goodness that Governor is a bad bad man. He makes my skin crawl. Will be interesting to see what happens there next season.
