Holding at 148.8 lbs. I've been doing good eating healthier, but I haven't exercised much at all in the past several weeks. And that's what I need to do to get the weight to drop. I wish I could find a yoga/pilates place or zumba class near work. Sitting in the car for so long driving home from work lulls me into laziness. By the time I get home, I don't want to do anything but sit some more.

I was out of town for the past 4 days, and came home to find that when the basement flooded, it killed my scale. Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing this week.

I'm walking a minimum of 2-3 miles during the work week still with an additional 4-5 mile walk on Saturday or Sunday.

The scale is starting to move downward again! I've been stuck for the last couple of weeks, but progress at last!
I'm down a pound since last week.

Go Gaby!

NIK, I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your treasured scale. I can tell that you are devastated.

Another half a pound this week. In even better news, was running around a lot with DS this week and it was awesome. I didn't get out of breath or even get tired or anything like that like I have in the past. It was awesome.

Down to 140.8 this morning.

Less than 6 pounds to go.

Went up 0.8 from last week. Thanks to my salty food fest from Thurs - Sat which consisted of salty popcorn Thurs night, Nachos at Happy Hour on Fri and a bar burger w/fries on Sat for lunch.

That'll teach me and I'm glad I've gotten that out of my system.

Attended the Body Attack new program launch on Sun morning. It's a killer and I did something to my bad foot. I'm hoping I'm fine by tomorrow's workout.

I am going the opposite way since I enrolled in school again. I am closing in on 170 lbs! Eating junk food between classes or before work, mostly. I need someone to kick my butt and get me back on track.

Still no weight loss. I burned a little over 1200 calories during my Monday workout this past week. I should have gone to zumba this morning, but my bed was cozy. I'm thinking about doing one of my Jillian Michael's dvds before I have to leave for the day. I'm kinda down today. Maybe the exercise will boost me back up.

The longer I keep trying to make changes and not seeing any progress, the more I think about trying something with a quick fix. Then I remind myself, I will probably just gain the quick fix right back again. Sigh.

As of this morning I'm down another pound, which puts me at my first mini goal!

Walking my butt off (and doing yoga and tai chi a few days per week).
I need to start adding in light strength training (for tone).

On to the next mini goal!

Happy dance this morning - 5 lbs lost this week (many miles walked and swum), which puts me back onto pre-Easter relapse targets. Looking forward to the coming week.

Great job everyone!

I'm waaaay overdue for checking in and I'm up 1.4 to boot! Just having trouble clicking this time around and finding a rythm.

The Mrs. started working 3rd shift overnights, so our schedules the past couple of weeks have started to change, and I'm sure I have some anxiety about that as well. Been finding myself making "Quick" food choices instead of "Good" food choices.

And with new changes in place regular gym time went out the window, so working on adjusting that to figure into our new routine.

I'm at about 100 pounds away from my goal weight. Would like to be closer to this goal by this time next year as we are talking about planning a trip to Paris.

I've already decided that I want a new wedding band when I make it to 200 pounds. Guess I'm using this as my motivation.

Glad to see everyone still here. I'll probably check in early for the next weigh in as we are going away to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate our annual "Adoption Day".

Keep up the great work gang!

Bleh, finals week bumped me back to 144 yesterday morning

I went for a run this morning though and have been mostly healthy today. It's a new week, and I'm going to be good!

I forgot to get on the scale this morning before I started sucking down my coffee drink. I'll have to do my weigh-in tomorrow morning. I did a bit of stress eating last week though, so I'm not expecting the number on the scale to be down, though.

On a couple of positive notes, SO was here this weekend and got my old bike rack adjusted to fit the car I have now, so I can get my bike to the bike shop to get tires. And since I probably won't be able to do that until next weekend, I went ahead and brought the exercise bike in from the garage. If it's where I can see it in the house, it's more likely I'll use it. Or at least, that's the theory.

I've decided menopause and being a girl both suck...

I have been sticking to my 1200 calorie diet and doing moderate exercise and have thus lost... NOTHING!!!!

I'm about to Give Up!

Don't give up. You can do this. You just need to find what works for you, now. The closer I get to 50, the more I'm seeing that what I eat, not just the amount of calories, is what matters. I have to cut back on the processed carbs or my weight doesn't change.

Processed carbs, as in bread and pasta and rice?

it's the breads and baked goods, mostly. but the white rice and potatoes stick to my hips and ass now in ways they didn't used to.

otoh, fruits and veggies, meats, and dairy like milk, butter and yogurt don't seem to be a problem.

I don't eat a lot of bread or baked goods anymore...

I eat a lot of fruit, veggies and greek yogurt. Hard boiled eggs and lean proteins.

I swear... I'm just stuck... I can't loose anything.
