Just let PMS be the day(s) you allow yourself to pig out guilt-free. Whatever it takes to get you through it. Then when it's over & you feel more together, go back to your normal disciplined routine.. (provided you have one). It works!

I FINALLY bought a new scale to replace the one the basement flood killed. And I put it on the 2nd floor.

I'm a little skeered of it - it measures in .1 lb increments and does fat %, water %, BMI, and I think it speaks in my judgmental sister's voice saying, "You just had to have that cookie last night, didn't you."

I need to lose weight, so hard with hypo thyroid. I also want to run more, but knees hurt bad. My goal is to run a marathon with my daughter in AK next year. Not sure I will make it :-(

Still logging onto MyFitnessPal - down 3.5 pounds this month. Walking every chance I get, 3 days a week at least with 3 REALLY good friends.

I've decided that I need to love me more. How can I expect to be loved if I don't love myself?

Down 1.4 this week, which was the ame weight I was up last weign in, lol. The yo-yo see saw continues.

On to next week and hopefully we can get this ball rolling in the positive direction... again.

First weigh in on the new scale. I have 45.2 lbs to go until target weight.

Note to DD: Thank you for making me breakfast in bed for Mother's Day. As much as I adore the sentiment, maybe next time you can go the egg white omelet route instead of the Nutella toast and kettle corn one?

I can sooo relate to this one today.
I'm just going to call today a wash with regard to my eating plan and exercise, hehehe.

I'm also hypo thyroid and I know how hard it is. here I am, trying yet again. I'm trying small goals this time. We have a vacation planned for end of June so my goal is to be down 10 lbs by then. I'll set another goal for after the vacation, but I'm thinking another 10 lbs down by the time school starts. Small goals instead of the giant "I need to lose at least 50 lbs" might be more motivating for me...I hope.

No weightloss this week. It seems to be pattern. Lose one week and nothing the next. So next Sunday will be great.

2.5 pounds down this week! With that it means that according to the standard BMI chart I am merely overweight! Of course that is assuming the stupid thing is working correctly. I think I need to get a new one that doesn't tell me that I am any one of four different weights on occasion

I missed my WW weigh-in last Sunday and as of yesterday's wegin-in I am down an additional 5.2 for a total of -47.6 since 9/2/12.

I attribute part of the loss the past two weeks to a VERY stressful job sitch. When I'm stressed, I don't eat, but I was careful to eat well when I did. Still, I'll take it because I had gained almost 2 pounds the previous two weeks of weigh-in's, so if I average it out, it's a 1.3/week loss over the past four weeks which is what I typically average.

After this Weds, my schedule opens up so I may try and get 4 workouts in per week which I'm thinking will include some bicycling.

I've lost a grand total of 2 lbs - yes 2. Whoopee! And I fell off the diet bandwagon this weekend. I ate sugar and carbs and drank beer. YIKES.

Need some encouragement to get back on the right track.

I'm also hypothryoid, and menopausally increasing in girth and also have bad knees. I suggest being very very careful with your knees - running a marathon may be very bad for them. I run in the swimming pool as its low impact but very aerobic and helps build up the quadriceps which in turn then support your knees better. Doing the two day fasting diet has helped me lose 12 lbs so far (another 20 to go).


Maybe a long walk in the Hindu Kush would do it?

I'm not telling anyone IRL ever again about trying to lose weight. Seriously... Opinions and theories are like A-holes and the people spouting them are also A-holes...

Ok.. Rant over.

Still haven't lost an ounce after 2.5 months of calorie counting and mild exercise.

Summer school starts in 9 days and then I'm going to ramp up my at home cardio and stretching... I have a routine in mind... I hope 8 weeks of summer vacation will help me cement my routine so I'm ready when school resumes in August.

I'm so tired of being tired and fat.

Saturday is my weigh in day. I'm down 3.3 for a total of 8.7. Only 5 lbs from my first mini-goal!

Weighed in at 149.2 this morning, which basically means what I'm doing is maintaining, and it's what I'm not doing (er...exercising) that will get me to lose some weight. As if I haven't known that all along.

I'm really glad this thread is around for accountability, even if I only check in once a week.
