My SI glitter tradition is taking my bowl of glitter outside and scattering it into the wind at midnight on New Years Eve and saying a prayer and sending good wishes to all of the SI ers for the coming year.

I have learned to take note of the wind direction before I scatter or my pajamas end up looking very much like your pants. Also, glitter is hard to get out of your hair.
