DS3, why aren't you eating your mac and cheese? Because it's making me sad.

Geez. Chicken nuggets hurt his feelings. Mac and cheese makes him sad. I know kids can be weird but WTF???

Awww Jrazz! Annnnnd....um nice jacket? Cute!

DS3 is running a fever today. Yay. He woke up from a nap sobbing. I put him in the tub. (he reeeally needed a bath) He sobbed because he didn't want to get in. I washed him up, told him to stand up, he sobbed because he wanted to stay in. Then he sobbed because I was putting him in jammies, "I want real cloooooothes!" I reach for the real clothes and he started crying, "I want Mickey jammiiiiiies!"

He got a dose of Tylenol and started feeling better. A little while ago he asked for "seepy tea so I feel better. *cough*cough*". I fixed him a mug of herbal Sleepy Time tea and he's good to go. Wonder how long that will last.

Oh No! Poor sweetie sweetie. If it's anything like what we had, I switched from Tylenol to Ibuprofen for the longer lasting effects.

I gotta get some of that seepy tee. Hope he feels better soon.

"Seepy Tea" is Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea. (Most importantly it's caffeine free )

When I'm sick I use Echinacea Complete Care. My kids won't touch it with a 40 foot pole, so I give them "seepy tea" or Honey Chamomile. They seem alot calmer and happier once they drink it. I think it's more of a mental thing than physical. But hey, if it works, it works. I shall not argue.

Bumping this because I want it to stay on the first page!

We're taking Baby G to a Kindermusik Jammie Jam class tonight. I don't know who's more excited - me or the baby.

DS3 has a new obsession with Charlie Brown. For the holidays he got a small stuffed Charlie Brown and Woodstock from my mom. His refrain ever since has been, Where's my Snoopy? So for Valentine's Day, I got him a small stuffed Snoopy. He loved it. Sleeps with it every night and brings it to day care pretty much every day.

A couple of weeks ago, WH handled pick up and called me when he got home. Snoopy had been left home and one the dogs had eaten part of him. DS was upset; I picked up a new Snoopy on the way home - all was good.

Fast forward to last weekend. We were all out together. Came home and Snoopy2 was gutted in the living room. I picked up pieces and both WH and I sat down and told DS that the dogs had hurt Snoopy and that we would get him a new one. He stared at us for about 30 seconds, then shook his little fists and yelled "AGAIN???"

Then walked up to our lab and shook his finger in his face and said "You are so NAUGHTY, Seerus (he can't pronounce Sirius). You have to have consequences."

Oh RS, I needed the laugh. "You have to have consequences!"
Sorry to hear that Snoopy died a horrible death, but good to know DS wasn't overly devastated.

Captain Underpants made another appearance today. Had a rough night so I slept in. When I got up, DS was jumping on the couch in his tighty whiteys. My crazy child.

Today DS was being especially attentive to our Malamute, Mosley. I'm in the kitchen and I hear DS yell, "Mom, I brush Mosley!" Go to check on this and he's brushing Mosley with his tooth brush!!!!

Oh, yeah. We're Harry Potter freaks. And not especially creative with the name for a black lab.

So Baby G was pretending to feed me ice cream tonight. I said, "What kind of ice cream is it?" and she replied, "Bermilla."

Fair warning - this is going to be a little TMI.

DS3 is always walking around with either his hand down his pants or holding his crotch. I keep telling him it's not going to fall off. Tonight he was standing in th emiddle of the living room pulling at his crotch and I told him to stop. He turned around and said, quite indignantly - But Mommy, my pee pee is stuck to my balls!!!

I had to leave the room.

LOL RS, I've got two who can't stop messing with em.

Recently DS4 took off his (dry) pullup to go put on underwear. As he ran from the bathroom, he was hanging onto the whole goods singing "Cold penis! Cold penis!" as he ran!

RS and Crossbow I believe I just seen my future with my ds. He is 15a months and discovered his little friend along time ago. Every time we change him his hands go right to it. Like a magnet. This past week he discovered how to take his pants off and yesterday he figured out how yo take his diaper off. The only thing missing for my little guy is a trench coat lol. Oh he also discovered how climb in the dining chairs and get on the table. Im waiting to catch him naked table dancing

I don't frequent Fun and Games that much. But this Toddler Mama Club sounds like so much fun!

My DD is 2. I have really been trying to watch my language around her.

DD: "Oh Crap!"
Me: "I told you not to say that word!"
DD: "No mama, you say no say Oh Fuck!"

Normally when she talks back to me it's unintelligible gibberish- this was her first understandable argument.

Last night DD put on her pajamas all by herself.

She also fed herself, half the times with her spoon, half the times with her hands, 100% from my plate and 0% from hers.

katieboo - I am really, really bad at watching my mouth and I've been trying to do better. A couple of months ago we had people over for dinner and I dropped something (can't remember what right now) and said: Son of a.... and stopped myself.

DS3 pipes up - it's Bitch, Mommy - son of a bitch!
