Hi everyone,

I browsed through the threads but didn't see any that recommended books on R. It's probable that I missed it.

I'm reading 5 Love Languages now and it's been helpful to an extent but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other books that are about R or bettering our M.

Something not to clinical please!

Thanks!!

I like to push the book Hold Me Tight by Sue Johnson. Here's a bit I lifted from the website: It walks the reader through seven conversations that capture the defining moments in a love relationship and instructs how to shape these moments to create a secure and lasting bond. That pretty much sums it up. The book changed my understanding of love relationships entirely.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Hi FmrLIer. The first book I had read together with my former WBF when infidelity struck was "How Can I Forgive You" by Janis Abrahms. It's not on infidelity specifically, but if you're really struggling with this issue in R, its a very good read. You might even want to read it together (we did).

Thank you so much for your recommendations!

I've got three books on the way so far - Mending a Shattered Heart, Not Just Friends & Porn Nation for fWH.

I'll read these next

Thanks for the recommendation manAscending. I haven't heard of that one and may pick it up in the future for the benefit of my current relationship.

Transcending Post Infidelity Stress Disorder by Dr. Ortman

(For those like me that were traumatized by the infidelity. )

For those well into reconciliation- How To Improve Your Marriage Without Talking ABout It by Love.
I wish I had read this book years ago... pre-affair.
It definitely described our marriage!
