Just got several from the library that I read this week..
The first was "Time of my life" by Patrick Swayze & lisa Niemi.. I could not put this book down.. he was so honest & open.. very interesting
the second I've read is "My journey with Farrah : a story of life, love, and friendship" by Alana Stewart.. I have been dying to read this book as I have always liked Farrah but I was disapointed. too 'soft' for me.. she comes off too martyry ( like that word?)
Now I'm on "My life with Paula" by Michael Groover. Paula Deens husband.. I loved her autobiography so I hope I'll like his as well. Only read the first couple of pages & it seems good.
Any other good biography recomendations? I will read anything in that genre except historical figures..
"Wired" by Bob Woodward. Great bio of John Belushi. Very good read.
If you're into child star biographies, it was interesting to read their journeys.
"That's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt."
RW founded Rhode Island on the principal of religious liberty. This book traces the development of RW's thought and his fight with Massachusetts, which wanted to force everyone to conform to its own view of religion - heretical sects - Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Jews, Mulsims.... - originally weren't welcome in Massachusetts.
Scandalous. My entire book club loved it (a rarity).
Oops, sorry. Just saw that you don't like books about historical figures. Maybe someone else will like it.
Theodore Rex has been enthralling GDM for the last several weeks. I had bought it to read and he beat me to it. Rascal.
