we also have a great dane = Diesel ... he lives in CO with my stbx and our other big dog shepard retriever mix - Chianne ...

Diesel is a blue merle color ... grayish/blue with irregular black spots ... he is so pretty and has a wonderful nature about him ...

he was the runt so he is only bout 110lbs

Chianne has such personality and character ... she is the escape artist ... you can watch her for days walk around a pen or yard smelling and pawing at the week spots ... soon as your not watching she is gone ...

we got them an electric fence and it has worked sooo well ... now they have the whole yard and we have lowered the shock to just a vibrate and the never even get near the fence now ...

wish I could figure out the pic thing I would post some ... but I am

anyway I could go on all night bout my fur babies ...

It does get easier

I have a Dane too. Mine is 6 and her name is Grace, she's a Mantle w/ a white tip on her tail.

She's rapidly becoming an old lady though. She injured her hip late summer, and she is such a sissy she does a lot of laying about. But she is still super sweet.
