Well, I just got off the phone with one of the VP's of the company I'm hoping to work for (he would be my boss's boss).

I think the conversation went really well, just like the previous interviews I had with his staff.

He said he was very impressed with both my background and skill set as well as how I carried myself in the conversation - he said my responses were well though out, articulate, and that I knew when to shut up, lol. He was also very pleased to hear that it was a position and company that I was looking for (as opposed to settling for).

Hopefully, I will be hearing back in a few days

Hope is never lost. It exists within you - it is real. It is not a force in and of itself - it is something that you create with every thought, action, and choice you make. It is a gift that you create for yourself.

That's GREAT news! I'll be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that he calls you soon with an offer! He couldn't ask for a better employee.
